Welcome to Tumaini Gospel Ministries

"Helping orphans find hope in the Son"

Our Ministry:
Tumaini Gospel Ministries shall share the love and declare the saving power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ that speaks to the spiritual, physical, and educational condition of orphans, and minister hope to all.

Our Vision:
Transforming lives of Africa's (Keyna's) orphans from hopelessness to hope by helping them find hope in the Son--their Shepherd and Friend; embracing each child with love and care, and empowering each with value-based education and integrating them in the community.

Africa, many would agree, is a dying continent due to the world's dangerous and deadly disease, AIDS.  AIDS is a disease which continues to ravage the population at an ever-increasing rate.  An estimated 24.5 million adults and children were living with HIV in sub-Sahara Africa at the end of 2005.  During that year, an estimated 2 million people died from AIDS.  The epidemic has left behind 1.2 million orphaned African children.

According to UNAIDS/WHO 2006 report on the global AIDS epidemic- - "In Kenya alone, 1.3 million people are living wiht AIDS and the epidemic there has left 1.5 million orphans"...a staggering number!

HOWEVER, there is hope!  There is hope with the goodwill of people like you who want to make a difference in the life of an orphan.  Through your love and care, we can give hope to a child who has nothing to wear, no proper place to sleep, no food, and no education.  Tumaini Gospel Ministry is committed to sharing the Gospel message of Biblical hope and practical help; giving an eternal perspecitve to life thorugh Jesus Christ to each orphan.  We will follow the command of our Lord indicated in the following Scriptures: "Let the little children come to me." (Mark 10:14).  "When He saw the crowd, He had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless like sheep without a shepherd." (Matthew 9:36)
